It was really great to receive the news of my permanent residency being approved. I received a call with the great news on the night of December 31st 2010. I was not expecting it at all given the time of year. As you can imagine it is a New Year’s Eve which I will remember for a long long time to come. I could not have planned better the timing or place to receive such great news.
