Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) criteria:-

A
new gazetted list of occupations has been introduced - the
ENS Skilled
Occupation List;
You must:
-
Have been working in Australia in the occupation for which you are being
nominated for 2 years prior to applying for your visa (including at least
the last 12 months with your nominating employer); or
-
Have qualifications assessed as equivalent to the Australian standard by
the appropriate assessment body in Australia and, unless the position is
an exceptional appointment, have 3 years post-qualifications experience in
the occupation; (For all occupations on the gazetted list there is an appropriate body
in Australia appointed to provide a formal assessment of the nominee’s
skills if necessary), or
-
Be nominated for a position which attracts a case salary of more that
A$165,000 (excluding superannuation and allowances).
In addition, unless
exceptional circumstances apply, applicants will be required to
-
be under the age of 45; and
-
have vocational English skills.
